Abstract: Verrucae are one of the most common cutaneous viral newlineinfections caused by human papilloma virus. They are benign tumours newlinewhich commonly involve the skin and epithelial tissues 1 newline. Patients newlineseek treatment for various reasons which include the distasteful newlineappearance, the pain and the discomfort it causes. Treatment of warts newlineis difficult though many modalities are available, more so with newlinemultiple and recalcitrant warts. The ideal aim of treatment is aimed newlineat removing the wart without recurrence, to avoid mutilating newlineprocedures and to help the body s immune system to deal with the newlineinfection better, producing lifelong immunity against the viral newlineinfection2 newline. newlineImmunotherapy is defined as a type of biological therapy that newlineuses substances to stimulate or suppress the immune system to help newlinethe body fight cancer, infection, and other diseases. In our study we newlinewere looking to induce or enhance immunity against the virus. newlineWith this as the background, we planned to conduct a study to newlinecompare the efficacy of intralesional PPD, BCG and MMR for the newlinetreatment of cutaneous warts newline
