T: Executive cognitive functions and perceptual sensory motor functions are required for any committed and goal directed action. That is regulated by prefrontal brain area involved in behavioral regulation and decision making process. Motor advancement and learning are achieved by mingling of child with material and social conditions. The combinations of work specific motor system into work specific functional units known as action system. In blind and visually impaired children, sensory motor occurrence is impoverished in certain extent and this leads to differences in motor progress and learning. As blind or visually impaired children are underprivileged from visual experience and visual imaginary that results them to become more dependent on haptic system for the job of tactile perception. It refers to receiving information of the object s properties such as material classes and material properties in external worlds with help of touch. Thus, the self guided tactile investigation in blind individuals enables them to recognize the shapes more rapidly than the sighted counterparts. newlineThe present study was aimed to determine and compare the executive cognitive function differences, influence of age and BMI on executive cognitive functions, perceptual sensory motor function and age and body mass index among blind and blind folded sighted individuals. newlineThe present study was carried out on 150 blind and 181 blindfolded sighted individuals aged between 10-17 years in the department of Physiology, RKDF Medical College Hospital and Research Center, Bhopal. Cognitive test of both types of participant was done with the help of battery of Dr. P. Shrinivasan. Haptic sensory discrimination test was performed with the help of shape scale, size scale and texture scale. Neuromuscular development assessment was performed with the use of the tests such as beads in box, beads in rod, not and volt, gait, standing on one foot. The tests for auditory reaction time were performed with the help of Multiple Choice Reaction Time Appa
