Abstract: The concept of quality has not evolved overnight but has come over a period of time as need arises from organizational benefits to customer focus. Thus, QUALITY started getting attention and business organizations have started realizing the importance of quality which leads to further customer SATISFACTION. Moreover, satisfied customers have maximum potential to become loyal customers and loyal customers are the real customers of the organization who keeps on making companies top line and bottom line stronger. Hence customer is the focal point of every TQM implementation programs in an organization. Thus the present study tried to find out the most prominent critical success factors that led to total quality management implementation in Bharuch region manufacturing companies. newlineFurther study aimed at identifying the gap in TQM implementation practices in Bharuch region. The study used descriptive research design to reach to the conclusion and necessary secondary data have been sourced from books, journals and websites. Further structured questionnaire has been designed and collected primary data from top management of the various business organization around Bharuch region. Based on total 19 variables of the TQM implementation, 33 items were framed and asked in the form of structured questionnaire. The reliability of the scale has been measured with the help of Cronbach s Alpha. Total 230 sample size considered for the study and all these selected on the basis of non-probability convenience sampling method. newlineThe data further coded in excel and necessary cleaning process carried out and whole further analysis carried out in excel and SPSS 21. The study has certain limitations such as Bharuch region companies are considered for the study and Qualitative data analysis is left out in this study. Further Important Critical success factors are considered but still many other critical success factors are missed out.
