Abstract: Sign languages for and by deaf individuals to communicate with each other are complex combinations of the visual gestures formed by facial expressions, body postures, hand shapes and motions. The other individuals find it very difficult to understand their meanings, because it is tailormade leading to a barrier in communication between them the society in general. Therefore Sign Language Recognition (SLR) aims to translate it into semantically meaningful text or voice in a spoken language. The study is to prove the practicality of the experimental results and their analysis, proposing contributions in improving automatic SLR. newline
