dc.description.abstractnewline Financial inclusion and Banking systems play a very important role in the economic newlinedevelopment of a Nation. Both Financial inclusion and Banking networks go hand in newlinehand. The banking system ensures the effective provision of services to the newlinesatisfaction of the people and hence spurs the movement of financial inclusion. Even newlinethough there have been a vast expansion of banking networks and implementation of newlinemany Government sponsored poverty alleviation programmes relating to various newlinesectors of the economy during the last five decades since the year 1970, still, people newlinein rural areas, as well as urban areas, are deprived of access to the institutional banking newlinesystem ( Commercial banks, Regional Rural Banks, etc.) and the position is still worse newlinein many eastern region states including Odisha. In this context, three papers have been newlinepublished to focus on the influence of financial inclusion in Odisha and the newlineperformance of the banking sector in India. Various techniques like machine learning newlineapproach such as the classification of k-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN), and regression newlinemodel have been used for calculating the district-wise Index of Financial Inclusion newline(IFI), its impact on various sectors, and ranking the different districts of Odisha based newlineon the availability of the ATMs, Banks, and BCs in the districts. Research has been newlinemade to evaluate the financial performance of the selected public and private sector newlinebanks in India for the period from the year 2005 to the year 2019 using CAMELS newlineModel. Composite Position, average, and ANOVA-tests are applied to conclude the newlinecomparative and substantive study of various CAMELS parameters using the SAS newlineEducational Version to enable the policymakers of the lower-ranked banks observed newlinein this study to take the measures needed to strengthen their weaknesses
