Abstract: | documents in the government and private sectors is gradually newlinereducing. Storing and maintaining the physical documents for a long time newlinerequires effective maintenance and a larger storage room. Also, the physical newlinedocuments have a more chance of error, misplacement, and decomposition. newlineScanning and converting the physical documents to a digital format eliminates newlinethe limitations and provides an effective way to analyze the documents. newlineHowever, safely managing these digital documents needs a proper architectural newlinesetup. Creating dedicated on-premise servers for managing the digital newlinedocuments has several limitations like high capital investment, increased newlineoperational and maintenance cost, and high possibility of data loss as it is stored newlinein a single on-premise server. newlineTo overcome the limitations of an on-premise dedicated document newlinemanagement server, this research work adopts the advantages of cloud services newlineand creates a secure and efficient cloud-based Electronic Document newlineManagement System (E-DMS). It allows the data owners to store, manage, and newlineretrieve their digital documents from the cloud storage at any point in time. newlineRenting cloud storage servers eliminates the capital investment and server newlinemaintenance cost. However, storing the confidential digital documents of the newlinedata owners in the cloud servers increases data vulnerability and data leakage. newlineTo increase newline |
