For instance, the data can be in the form of text, image, audio and video clips. Among all types of data, image data is quite popular due to its better information portrayal. Most of the real-time applications right from healthcare to remote sensing utilize image data for data processing and analysis. The image data are effective for acquisition, processing and analysis which make it highly suitable for sensitive applications. newlineThe healthcare domain widely utilizes the medical images for ensuring better analytics and diagnostics. Different imaging techniques are available for capturing the medical images and it depends on the ailment. The medical images are analysed by the medical experts and appropriate diagnosis is made. The medical image analysis is a vast research topic and this work focuses on medical image quality enhancement and Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) systems. newlineThe quality of the medical image is crucial and it determines the efficiency of the image analytical system.
