Cancer is one of the prevalent chronic human diseases and a leading cause of death worldwide. newlineIt is a multifactorial and multigenic disease resulting from the dysregulation of multiple cancer newlinerelated pathways. During the last two decades, our understanding of the causes and factors newlineassociated with cancer pathogenesis has improved significantly. Head and neck cancer (HNC) newlineand pancreatic cancer (PaCa) are the two commonly reported cancers worldwide. Head and newlineneck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) constitute about 90% of all HNC. PaCa is considered newlineto be a rare site cancer with leading mortality site across the world. PaCa is reported to be age newlineassociated and hits the elderly, with men having marginally higher incidence rates as compared newlineto the women. The current treatment modalities available for HNSCC and PaCa include newlinesurgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. Chemotherapy is associated with several newlineproblems such as poor specificity, drug resistance, low response rate, and severe side effects. newlineThus, alternative treatment options that can increase efficacy, reduce side effects, and improve newlinepatient life quality is needed. newline
