Abstract

Pilot study is the preliminary study of the universe to get early idea about it. Pilot studies or pre-testing are essential measures for framing a perfect schedule. According to Goode and Hatt, No amount of thinking, no matter how logical the mind or brilliant the insight is likely to take the place of careful empirical checking. newlineIn the present study, initially 98 questions were there before conducting pilot-study. In the present study 15 pilot studies have been conducted. Out of which 10 cases were studied in Bajapur Gram Panchayat of Khordha block. Another 5 cases were studied at Chhanaghar Gram Panchayat of Jatni block. During the pilot-study, some questions were found to be ambiguous which were further removed from the final interview schedule.
