Abstract: | newline quotIn every research the fibres used in civil construction applications were mostly compared based on their properties similar length and category Researches were mostly done in labs without taking into account the Indian rural or the urban areas The research done was also mostly carried out for single test like compressive and flexural strength test Here in this experiment we have included different varieties of fibre along with more varieties of test Also none of the papers have pH test included in their experiment whereas we have included it in our experiment Our Methodology includes with selection of fibre manufacturing of selected civil application with selected single fibres followed by testing Based on the current market scenario and single fibre test results we have selected 4 fibre for fibremix followed with same process of manufacturing and testing After getting good result we also manufacture graded samples for the selected civil application to know the difference between the rural and urban areas in terms of properties and to check the cost effectiveness On going through the overall result we can say that in Paver block the Excel fibre shows good results in compressive strength and abrasion resistance In fibre blend the PraUn Advance shows good compressive strength and in abrasion resistance PraUn Mix and PraUn Super advance shows very good result In M30 grade the acrylic fibre shows good result in compressive strength and abrasion resistance Overall we can say that fibre blend with various fibre length shows good strength and abrasion resistance while the fibre should vary in between 0.2 to 0.6 percentage for better results The increase in strength is due to loss of void less crack generation and proper mixing along with fibres newlineThis PhD Thesis will help in development of different civil constructional applications using different types of textile fibres as per the requirement of present day market.quot newline |
