Abstract: | Employees are vital assets of an organization. If an organization wants to be successful newlinein today s competitive environment, they should form strategies to not only attract the newlinebest employees but also to retain these employees. The question of why employees quit newlinehas constantly been a matter of concern for all types of organizations until they realized newlinethat rather than finding out their reason to leave, it is also important to identify their newlinereasons to stay. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the factors that influence newlineemployees to quit an organization as well as those that will influence them to stay on. newlineIf organizations want to succeed in the technological era, the challenge of voluntary newlineturnover of employees should be addressed very carefully and incisively. Among newlineothers, Organizational justice and organizational cynicism may be significant reasons newlinefor employees to quit organizations. On the other hand, Job embeddedness is a newlinesignificant factor that influences an employee to stay with the organization. According newlineto the recent Deloitte and KPMG Annual Compensation and Benefits Trends Survey newlineIndia report (2011-2018), in the last few years, the rate of voluntary attrition in the newlineInformation Technology (IT) industry and Information Technology enabled Services newline(ITeS) industry in India has been high. There is therefore a need to interrogate the newlineinfluence of the above parameters in a bid to reduce employee turnover intentions in IT newlineand ITeS organizations. newline |
