Abstract: Despite the extensive research on leishmaniasis has been done with newlinean aim to eradicate the disease, but still it is global concern due to increased newlinedrug resistance and non-availability of approved vaccine. Therefore, the newlinesearch of parasite specific proteins to identify new anti-leishmanial drug newlinetargets and novel vaccine candidates is an urgent priority. Previously, proteins newlinewhich are secreted by parasites at particular life cycle stage at particular time, newlineunder defined conditions have been studied for parasite survival and disease newlinepathogenesis. Importantly, till now, there are very few stage specific secreted newlineproteins have been identified and characterized. newline
