Abstract: An Organization has four resources, namely men, material, money and machinery, of which men is the only living and important resource. So it is important to manage the resources which is the function of Human resource Management (HRM). HRM is the process of managing human resources more efficiently and effectively to achieve the controlling of procurement, Development, Compensation, Integration, Maintenance and Separation of Human Resources to the end, that individual, Organization and specific duties to employees about recruitment, selection, training etc. But under present complex and dynamic environment the managers have to face number of challenges. In order to overcome such challenges, they have to possess the specialized knowledge and skills to diagnose changes in the business environment, develop strategies and implement them to enable the organization to survive and grow under such conditions. To be successful, human resource manager has to identify human resource needs in the organization for which recruitment and selection are important steps. newline
