Detection of salivary Osteopontin levels in patients with various grades and stages of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma and to compare with normal individuals using ELISA and Nano ELISA

Abstract

AIM: newlineTo compare the salivary Osteopontin levels in patients with various grades newlineand stages of Oral Squamous cell carcinoma and apparently normal individuals newlineusing ELISA and Nano ELISA. newlineMETHODS: newlineA cross sectional study was conducted among 50 patients who reported to newlinethe outpatient department of Saveetha Dental College and hospitals. The patients newlinewere divided into 2 groups. Group I include patients with Oral Squamous Cell newlineCarcinoma, group II healthy individuals. ELISA was done for all the samples. Nano newlineELISA was done for 5 normal individuals and 5 stage IV samples. newlineRESULT: newlineOsteopontin was expressed in saliva of both normal and oral squamous cell newlinecarcinoma patients.
