dc.description.abstractnewline In this age of modern technology, all data is transferred through the newlineinternet. Without an ounce of doubt, the transmission needs to be secure. newlineHowever, it has become even more backbreaking to do so. Inevitably, ways newlineto overcome this are gaining a noticeable thought. Data hiding approach newlineembeds secret data inside a cover medium. The presence of the data is newlineunnoticeable to any third party that is the attraction of this technique. A newlinesubstantial part in the efficacy of data hiding is played by the quality of the newlineimage and the payload capacity. When we tried to increase the payload newlinecapacity normally it will create more distortion in the original image. So in newlinethis research our focus has to propose algorithm with high imperceptibility newlineand efficient payload capacity. newlineWe have proposed a data embedding algorithm using quorum newlinefunction. A 3-input quorum function is used to embed the secret data in an newlineefficient manner. An optimal bit change operation has been defined so that newlinethe embedding process creates minimum distortion in the original cover newlineimage. So as to implement the algorithm for reversible data-embedding, the newlineconcept of image interpolation is used. The efficiency of the proposed method newlinehas been tested on various benchmark images and images from USC-SIPI newlineimage database. Our proposed method guarantees a peak signal to noise ratio newline(PSNR) value of more than 45 dB in all the test images. But here we could newlineattain a maximum embedding capacity of 1 bit per pixel only.
