Each newlinecomponent of the reproductive system is regulated by feedback mechanisms that newlinecoordinate the processes leading to gonadotropin secretion, gamete production, and newlinemaintenance of the species. Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) a versatile newlinehormone is a key regulator of reproductive function in both sexes (females and males). newlineGnRH plays a central role by stimulating the synthesis and release of the pituitary newlinegonadotropin, luteinizing hormone (LH), and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) from newlinethe pituitary. The LH and FSH once secreted target the gonads and stimulate newlinesteroidogenesis, which is responsible for the progression of gonadal growth and newlinematuration. newline
