Abstract: Artificial Intelligence has been revolutionizing almost all fields because of its ability to mimic human intelligence. Due to this, certain ethical issues, socio-economic issues and legal issues are bound to crop up. This research analyses these issues in the backdrop of legal status of artificial intelligence, suggests solution to the fundamental legal issue of liability and compensation and also proposes a legislation regarding the same. newline
