Abstract: | newline viii newlineABSTRACT newlinePresent study defines current educational area of research in the arena of information systems, indicating precisely in the field of knowledge management, knowledge reuse, andknowledge sharing. It has been not possible for educationalists with extensive information such as knowledge management, knowledge reuse andknowledge sharing structures to use the right path to use their respective knowledge. newlinePoint is that how can we apply the knowledge is useful way and how the knowledge reuse and sharing can help to optimize useful knowledge? Selecting or finding a proper way to apply, distribute, reusing and sharing knowledge creativities is difficult to understand. Current research goals to support or praise on the appropriate use of knowledge management information systems in modern educational institutions. The current study opens the doors to recognize the connection between institutional performance, reuse and categorization of knowledge as well as application of knowledge. newlineThe growing importance of higher educational institutions (HEI) is evident both nationally and internationally. HEI is now face greater challenges in organizing and managing their resources to create competitive advantage and differentiate themselves in the industry. An important question that is fundamental in this research is why some HEIs are more successful than others with the same or multiple resources? The higher educational institutions industry is a typical industry where knowledge is seen as the main source and knowledge management (KM), knowledge reuse (KR) and knowledge sharing (KR) is considered to be an important source of competitive advantage to improve the innovative performance of higher educational institutions (HEIs). newlineThe aim of this research is to gain insight into knowledge management, knowledge reuse and knowledge sharing and its innovation. More specifically, this study examines the relationship between knowledge management, knowledge reuse and knowledge sharing (KM, KR, KS) and the innovative performance of higher educational institutions along with the moderating impact of firm age and firm size. newlineix newlineThe four traditional knowledge translation progressions of Nonaka and Takeuchi, (1995) Socialization, Combination, Internalization, and Externalization (SECI) have been included with knowledge reuse indicator to study the applications of knowledge reuse with the existing processes in Nonaka and Takeuchi model. newlineEmpirical data has been successfully collected from 200 higher educational knowledge users in the Uttar Pradesh, including colleges and universities. The results indicate that there is a positive relationship between KM, KR, KS and the innovative performance of HEIs. newlineKeywords: Knowledge Management, Knowledge Reuse, Knowledge Components, Innovative Performance, Higher Educational Institutions. |
