Abstract: The idea of trauma, is typically regarded as a highly disturbing encounter that newlinesignificantly alters the self s psychological organisation and perspective of the external newlineworld. Trauma studies investigates the emotional, rhetorical, and cultural significance newlineof trauma in literature and society. With the notion that a traumatic event tests the newlinebounds of language, fractures the psyche, and even shatters meaning entirely, the current newlineresearch aims at bringing out the importance of writing the pain behind those trauma. newlineIn the present study, trauma s impact on the human psyche isused to investigate the newlineindividual experience and also the collective traumatic event in the selected works, newlinetherefore making a relationship between the experience of individual and collective newlineworlds. The current study is an examination of a few authors who have chosen to write newlineabout their suffering after being victimised. The consequences of traumatic experiences newlineand their effects on narratives via sociocultural impacts are examined. The study also newlineaims to highlight the relevance of having trauma narratives that aid in the creation of newline self as well as the vital function it plays in moulding the individual and collective newlinegroup to reconstruct their stories and transform themselves from victim to survivor. newlineThe present study also looks at how writing and the use of narratives, reconstruct newlinepainful memories using the third space theory , and how it reflects as a healing for newlineboth the writer and the reader, as well as the impact it has on society. To analyse the newlineresearch challenge, the thesis employed a pure qualitative analysis technique, and the newlineworks picked are by authors who have encountered pain and subjection as a result of newlinetrauma in their life. The study investigates and emphasises the significance of artistic newlineexpression in the rebuilding of identity, as well as the function of writing and narration newlinein the process of rehabilitation.
