Abstract: The current study was conducted in the Department of Dairy Science and newlineFood Technology, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, BHU, Varanasi. On h 300 of newlineincubation, a total of 1,500 embryonated eggs were equally allotted into 10 groups. newlineThe first was the non-injected (NC) and the remaining were in ovo injected with newlinesterile distilled water (PC), B. subtilis 4x105 and 4x106 CFU (LBS and HBS), newlineRaffinose 2 and 3 mg (LR and HR), B. subtilis 4x105 CFU + raffinose 2 mg newline(LBS+LR), B. subtilis 4x105 CFU + raffinose 3 mg (LBS+HR), B. subtilis 4x106 CFU newline+ raffinose 2 mg (HBS+LR), B. subtilis 4x106 CFU + raffinose 3 mg (HBS+HR). newline
