Abstract: | The significant contribution of workplace spirituality in bringing about various positive attitudinal and behavioral outcomes has been well established through past researches. The purpose of current study was to study the impact of workplace spirituality on employee wellness. It also attempted to examine whether perceptions of organizational politics performs a mediating role in this relationship. A sample of 750 respondents was proposed from top ten organizations of select five sectoral segments viz. IT, ITES, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (150 samples from each sector). This study uses cross sectional study approach to collect data from the final sample size of 536 working professionals in Delhi NCR. SPSS version 20.0 and PLS SEM software (Smart PLS 3) were used for the descriptive and inferential data analysis. The findings reveal that employee wellness construct could be conceptualized as a broad general factor having four dimensions. This investigation is unique as it identifies work-life balance as an important component of employee wellness. Another unique finding was to develop the employee wellness scale with specifications of a formative measurement model. To the best of our knowledge, no published study so far has measured employee wellness as a formative construct.
