dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT newlineHypertension has become a common non-communicable disease that has both physical newlineand psychological causes. Pharmacological methods were the primary means of newlinecontrolling hypertension. Even though pharmacological interventions lower blood newlinepressure, they do not cure autonomic dysfunctions or psychosocial reasons. newlineComplementary and alternative approaches for the treatment of hypertension are being newlinestudied. One of the simplest and most classic approaches is to combine two relaxation newlineactivities, such as Om chanting and Yoga nidra. Although numerous studies have newlinedemonstrated the separate benefits of Yoga nidra and Om chanting, few studies combine newlinethe two. As a result, the current study was designed to provide research-based evidence newlineon the impact of Om chanting and Yoga nidra on hypertension and its consequences. newline | |
