Abstract: | An experimental as well as numerical analysis on the heat transfer study of a two newlinephase air-water mist-jet impingement from a heated cylinder is carried out. The heated newlinecylinder is maintained at a constant heat flux at a temperature below the boiling regime. A newlinefull factorial parametric study is conducted for four different values each of the mist loading newlinefractions, Reynolds numbers and nozzle-to-surface spacings, and their effect on the heat newlinetransfer coefficient and the enhancement in the heat transfer are reported.
