Abstract: | ABSTRACT newlineZigbee based Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) technology is progressively used in the present day for remotely monitoring, managing, and automating homes, industries, or any other workplaces. Zigbee based WSN requires more research to fulfil the demands of real time applications like data reliability, energy efficiency, less delay, security, and high throughput. The aim is to present the analysis of research methodologies and Zigbee protocols to achieve the efficient Zigbee based on 802.15.4 WSN. On this study, we presented an overview of the Zigbee protocol as well as a detailed examination of previous research in IEEE 802.15.4-based Zigbee WSN. Because of its low cost, low power, and high range properties, Zigbee is used in a variety of modern and home-grown applications, according to this study. There are three different Zigbee topologies. These topologies should be chosen depending on application and performance needs. As a result, this research work analyse the performance of Zigbee network for star, tree, and mesh topologies by changing the modulation method of transceivers. However, until now, the Zigbee based WSN system has lacked in terms of effective power use. WSN is made up of portable or fixed battery operated devices. Low power consumption will improve battery life accordingly it enhances WSN life. The goal of this research is to find the optimal transmit power to minimize energy consumption of Zigbee based WSN under normal operation. newlineThe research was carried out using the OPNET Modeler to simulate required scenarios. Firstly, implementation of Zigbee network in star topology for cost effective, low MAC delay and data reliability is also not an issue in the network for any specific application. Secondly, Simulate the Zigbee WSN in different topologies and concluded the tree topology is best topology. Mesh and tree topologies are preferred to the application in which data reliability is much important or application specific topology to be used. Thirdly, analyse the effect of modulation techniq |
