The crustal properties of any region, especially of the seismically active region newlinebecome very significant for the seismic hazard evaluation and subsurface studies of that newlineregion. Various crustal parameters like site effects, attenuation properties, earthquake newlinesource characteristics and velocity estimation can be used to explore the crustal newlineproperties of any region. During the dealing of seismological data, the site effect study newlinebecomes important. The seismic amplification observed due to soft deposits covered newlineover the bedrock, which cause more damage during an earthquake and this is called site newlineeffect (Kuo et al., 2012). The decay of ground motion amplitude is related to the newlineattenuation property of medium. The site effects are quantified in form of site newlineamplification curves and the resonance frequency. Attenuation property of earth newlinemedium is quantitatively defined by a dimensionless quantity know as quality factor newline Q which defined as the fractional loss of energy per cycle (Knopoff, 1964). newline
