Abstract: An experiment was carried out to assess the effect of Multi Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs) on growth, seed yield and seed quality attributes by two protocols i.e., Nano-priming and Nano-coating of soybean varieties PS-1225 and PS-1347 at Seed Testing Laboratory, Department of Seed Science and Technology at the Crop Reseach Farm, Kalyanpur, Chandra Shekhar Azad university of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur during Kharif 2018 and 2019. newlineObservations were recorded on growth and seed yield contributing traits along with seed quality parameters. Results revealed the significant variation between factors and their levels. Highest seed quality parameters viz. standard germination (87.33, 89.50 and 88.42%), shoot length (25.38, 26.48 and 25.93 cm), root length (25.98, 27.03 and 26.50 cm), seedling length (46.99, 48.86 and 47.92 cm), speed of germination (4.13, 4.07 and 4.11), seedling vigour index I (4111, 4379 and 4245) and II (40.31, 41.32 and 40.82) were recorded in treatment newlineP5 (4.0 and#956;g/ml), whereas, Treatment C2 (4.0 and#956; gm) was found best for all the field and pot experiment parameters viz. field emergence (80.33, 82.72 and 81.53%) and (79.23, 79.69 and 79.46%), plant height (74.18, 76.30 and 75.24 cm) and (60.53, 62.30 and 61.41 cm), number of branches plant-1 (11.72, 11.95 and 11.83) and (11.22, 12.80 and 12.01), days to 50% flowering (53.16, 54.16 and 53.66 %) and (58.83, 58.67 and 58.75), leaf chlorophyll content (44.85, 45.92 and 45.38) and (44.13, 45.55 and 44.84), number of pods plant-1 (88.67, 89.60 and 89.14) and (58.13, 59.41 and 58.77) , pod length (3.91, 3.94 and 3.92 cm) and (3.83, 3.82 and 3.82 cm) , number of seeds pod-1 (3.85, 4.00 and 3.93) and (3.82, 3.93 and 3.87), seed yield per plant (12.24, 12.50 and 12.37 g) and (8.82, 9.00 and 8.91 g), 100 seed weight (9.86, 9.86 and 9.86 g) and (9.79, 9.83 and 9.81 g) respectively, seed yield per plot (1.098, 1.100 and 1.100 kg) and seed yield per ha-1 (3662.14, 3674.24 and 3668.19 kg) in both the years and pooled data respectively as compared to control
