Abstract: In current trend, ternary spinel structure of mixed transition metal newlineoxides has attracted much attention in electrochemical performance owing to newlineits special chemical composition of AB2O4, which containing two ternary newlinemetals (A and B) with A having an oxidation state of +2 and B of +3, are newlineattracting much attention as anode materials for lithium ion batteries. Hence, newlinethis type of material has better electrochemical performance due to improve newlineelectron conductivities. The manganese-based ternary metal oxides newline(ZnMn2O4, NiMn2O4, MnCo2O4, CuMn2O4, and FeMn2O4, etc.) are developed newlinefrom current researchers for various applications like catalytic activity for CO newlinereduction, gas sensor, supercapacitors and photocatalytic activity. Among newlinethese, ZnMn2O4 material has inspired a great potential in research field due to newlinetheir bivalent of Zn2+ occupying the tetrahedral sites and the trivalent of Mn3+ newlineoccupying the octahedral sites in the spinel structure. In addition, ZnMn2O4 newlinehas attracted much attention owing to its low cost, environmental friendliness newlineand lower operating voltage compared with the cobalt (or) iron base oxides. newlineZnMn2O4 act as an excellent electrode material for SCs owing to their higher newlinespecific capacitance and greater number of redox active sites that originate newlinefrom bivalent and trivalent of Zn2+ and Mn3+ ions are occupying at tetrahedral newlineand octahedral sites respectively in the spinel structure. Furthermore, newlineZnMn2O4 has more attention owing to their lower operating voltage, newline
