Abstract: The detailed analysis of the data collected revealed high sensitivity (85%) and specificity rates (83.33%). The positive predictive value (77%) and negative predictive value (89%) of the SOFA score. When comparing the costs involved in the calculation of the existing indices and the need for CT evaluation in CTSI score, the parameters of SOFA score are easy to calculate and the cost involved is much less. newline
