Abstract: Phosphorus (P) is an important macronutrient in agriculture because it is one of newlinethe key nutrients for sustained crop production (Haygarth et al., 2013). In soil, generally newlinetwo forms of P exist: Organic P and Inorganic P. Among these various P forms, plant newlineabsorb only inorganic orthophosphate (H2PO4 newlineand#8722; and HPO4 newline2and#8722;) from the soil as a nutrient. newlineSoil microbes play a crucial role in plant-soil system and particularly their influence on newlineplant nutrients like phosphorous. newline
