Abstract: TPP Dadri, situated in UP is a major power generation unit that contributes newlinetowards a large fraction of energy requirements of India. To assess the impact of newlineadvocated pollutants from the Thermal Power Plant on crops, a two-year study (01-07- newline2017 to 01-07-2019) was carried out. The present work summarizes the results for the newlinestudy carried out in six adjoining villages within 1-10 km of TPP. Air, water, soil and newlinecrop (rice and wheat) samples from the six villages namely Piyawali, Sidhipur, Ranauli, newlineChauna, Jarcha and Khatana. The collected samples were analyzed using standard newlinereference methods. newline
