dc.description.abstract | The present investigation entitled Effect of growth regulators on morpho-physiological characters, yield and quality of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) under restricted irrigation was conducted at Students Instructional Farm, Nawabganj, Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur-208002 (U.P.) in randomised block design (RBD) with exogenous application of growth regulators viz., GA3 20 ppm, GA3 40 ppm, Alar 100 ppm, Alar 200 ppm, ABA 25 ppm, ABA 50 ppm, SA 50 ppm, SA 100 ppm, Kinetin 5 ppm, Kinetin 10 ppm along with untreated wheat plants (Control) with wheat variety (K1317) applied first at 30 DAS (Vegetative stage) and second at anthesis during two consecutive years (2017-18 and 2018-19) to envisage their impact on morphological, physiological, biochemical, yield and its attributes and correlation coefficient under restricted irrigation conditions. Observations were recorded at different crop growth stages. Results revealed that almost all traits varied significantly due to the application of tested growth regulators during both years of study under restricted irrigation conditions.
