The present investigation entitled Studies on effect of foliar application of PGRs and mineral nutrients on fruit growth, drop, yield and quality of aonla (Emblica officinalis Gaertn.) cv. NA-7 was carried out during two consecutive years (2015-16 and 2016-17) and also in pooled analysis was also observed. The investigation was carried out with the objectives to assess the effect of foliar application of PGRs and mineral nutrients on fruiting behavior of fruits, to assess the effect of foliar application of PGRs and mineral nutrients on yield of fruits, to assess the effect of foliar application of PGRs and mineral nutrients on physico chemical characteristics of aonla fruits. The observations were recorded on characters viz., fruiting behavior (per cent fruit set, per cent fruit drop and per cent fruit retention), fruit yield per plant and physical characters of fruit (fruit length, fruit width, fruit weight, fruit volume, specific gravity, fruit pulp weight, per cent fruit juice, fruit pulp/stone ratio and fruit stone) and bio-chemical attributes of fruit (Total soluble solids, acidity, ascorbic acid, reducing sugar, non-reducing sugar and total sugar). The present investigation revealed that the maximum per cent fruit set, per cent fruit retention, per cent fruit yield per plant, fruit length, fruit width, fruit weight, fruit volume, specific gravity, fruit pulp weight, per cent fruit juice, fruit pulp/stone ratio and fruit stone, total soluble solids, acidity, ascorbic acid, reducing sugar, non-reducing sugar and total sugar with the foliar spray of 50 ppm GA3 + 50 ppm NAA followed by 25 ppm GA3 + 25 ppm NAA and minimum in control (water spray) during both the years of experiment newline
