The presence of permanent magnets in the rotor makes the BLDC motors more effectual and diminutive when compared to the conventional DC motors. BLDC motors have emerged in recent years as a very strong contender to replace induction motors for variable speed applications, industrial, automotives, home appliances and electric vehicles. They entrust better performance in terms of enhanced efficiency, reduced noise, high-power density, and compact size when compared to the prevailing motors.
