Abstract: The present thesis entitled Domino Process for Non-Annulated/ Annulated Pyrroles: newlineApplication Towards the Total Synthesis of Some Bioactive Marine Pyrrole newlineAlkaloids and Lamellarin Inspired Molecular Scaffolds describes the development of newlinea synthetic methodology to access functionalized pyrroles in a single pot operation. Then, newlinethe application of the methodology for the formal synthesis of ningalin B has been newlinedemonstrated. Later, the total synthesis of several natural and unnatural lamellarins has newlinebeen accomplished in 4-6 linear steps through the application of the methodology. newlineFurther, a domino process for accessing diverse chromenodihydropyrrolizne (CDPs) and newlinechromenotetrahyroindolizine (CTIs) in good to excellent yield as the simplified version newlineof isolamellarins has been demonstrated.
