Abstract: The work carried out in my research tenure has been compiled in the form of a thesis entitled newline Structure-based design, synthesis and biological evaluation of new pyrazole, isoxazole, and newlinequinolone based small molecules as potent antitubercular/anticancer agents . The primary newlineobjectives of this work are 1) To design and synthesize new pyrazole and isoxazole-based newlinederivatives and evaluate them for their anti-mycobacterial activity and 2) To design and newlinesynthesize new isoxazole and quinoline based derivatives and evaluate them for apoptosis and antiproliferative activity. newline
