Abstract: Water is one of the fundamental necessities and it is also needed by all living beings on the planet. It overwhelms a greater part of the space on our planet, covering around 71% of the absolute surface space of Earth. Hydrology is the investigation of the appropriation, accessibility, utilization, and development of ground water. Water exists in each of the three of its states, to be specific, solid (ice), fluid, and vapour (stream) - clarifying the significance of understanding the science and structure of water. Water is a crystal-clear colourless compound substance with one oxygen molecule covalently bonded to two hydrogen atoms. The used form of water is usually referred as wastewater. This wastewater has to be treated properly or else it may lead to water contamination when it is not treated properly. All wastewater will not cause contamination, but some highly concentrated wastewater and also by some time duration, they lead to contamination. Hence the wastewater has to be treated properly otherwise water pollution will be taking place and this makes the water unsuitable for various usage purpose. newlineThe main objective of the study is to remove the excess phosphorus content present in the fireworks industrial wastewater from Sivakasi, Virudhunagar district by using natural coagulants. Sivakasi is situated at 9.4593°N 77.8167°E and has a normal rise of 101 meters (331 feet). This city is known for its firework, matchbox and printing industries. A total of about 520 registered printing industries, 53 match factories, 32 chemical factories, seven soda factories, four flour mills and two rice and oil mills are there in the town. newline
