Abstract: The present work describes the detailed investigation related to different aspects of force newlinetransducers, such as fabrication techniques, various shapes of the transducers, metrological newlinecharacterization, etc., incorporated into various applications, like metrological, scientific, and newlineindustrial for fulfilling the requirements of force measurement. Three-dimensional printing newline(3DP) is an excellent technology and carries out a noteworthy role in the fabrication of sensors as newlinecompared to traditional techniques of fabrication, like subtractive manufacturing. In this work, a newlinedetailed investigation related to traditional manufacturing and 3DP with respect to different newlinesensors has also been discussed. Different sensors, such as mechanical sensors, electrical and newlineelectronic sensors, biosensors, and chemical sensors, can be fabricated using 3DP technologies in newlinean economical, quick, and eco-friendly approach. Among various 3DP technologies, fused newlinedeposition modeling (FDM) and inkjet printing method have notably been utilized. With the newlineemergence of new materials and fair capability in the printing process, these techniques include newlineenormous advantages and potential in the development of sensors. Future development includes newlinesuperior biosensors for tissue engineering, high power sensors, and advancements in newlinemultifunctional sensors. newline
