Abstract: | Diverse comprehensive applications have deep integration of different newlineinformation types like physical resources and social resources owing to the newlineInternet of Things (IoT) technologyand#8223;s advancement. Dealing with vast amount newlineof IoT information, IoT search technology is utilized for identifying accurate newlineinformation swiftly in order to fulfil the usersand#8223; real-time search requirements. newlineIoT search, however, does necessitate the utilization of a huge amount of user newlineprivate information, like social relations information, location information, newlineand personal health information, for offering personalized services. Trust newlinerefers to the concept that is connected to the expectations and belief of ability, newlinesecurity, integrity, and reliability. Trust is becoming a crucial thing that has to newlinebe implemented in the IoT as it is quite useful in securing communication newlineamong objects such as choosing other trustable objects at the time of newlinecommunication. Security problems may be experienced when dealing with newlinethe usersand#8223; private information if there is an omission of an efficient Access newlineControl Mechanism (ACM) during the search process of the IoT. With the newlinetrust-based ACM, efficient monitoring of the resourcesand#8223; access activities and newlineensure authorized users access to information resources under legitimate newlineconditions can be achieved. TrustACM is a new access control management newlinesystem based on trust degrees that protected resources. These trust degrees are newlinegenerated automatically from the trust model mapping among users with their newlinetrust degree thereby reducing the need for manual administration. TrustACM newlinespecification is based on trust degrees as opposed to roles that are different. newlineThis specification will include a new reference model defining the basic newlineTrustACM elements and their relationships with a functional model that newlinedefines the features needed from the system. newline newline |
