Research and Development (RandD) investment has a sophisticated newlinecorrelation with the profitability or financial performance of capital intensive newlinemanufacturing sector. By making it possible to produce innovative products and newlineservices, RandD investments provide long term growth, gain competitive newlineadvantages and create value for corporations. RandD can lead to innovations in newlineany business which may be in terms of new products and services, improved newlineprocesses and new ways to interact with your customers. These innovations can newlineresult in greater profits and lower costs. However, they require significant newlineinvestment expenditures.
