Abstract: Mahoba district of Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh, India experiencing frequent drought newlinecondition has been attempted to understand the groundwater flow and details pertaining to the newlineoverall scenario of groundwater regime through hydrogeological mapping. The study area having newlinefour blocks viz: Kabrai, Jaitpur, Charkhari and Panwari covers an area of 2933.59 km2 drained newlinewith rivers Dhasan, Birma, Urmil, Chandrawal and Arjun. Geomorphologically the area can be newlinegrouped into a Hard rock, Marginal alluvium and Alluvium. The behavior of groundwater is newlinedifferent in these three different geomorphological units. newline
