Abstract: Tumour growth involves changes at various levels ranging from genomic to metabolism for newlinesurvival and propagation. Besides many key oncogenic signalling pathways, metabolic newlinereprogramming also plays a key role during tumourigenesis. Altered metabolism and newlineunfavourable tumour microenvironment, such as low oxygen availability and nutrient newlinedeprivation, exposes the oncogenically targeted cells to intense cellular stress. newline
