Abstract: In recent years, there is a great deal of interest in implementing to photocatalytic performance so as to improve naturally to different applications for advanced science and technology relating to industrial processes and agricultural productions which have led to considerably increase in several phenols, pesticides, dyes, solvents and other organic pollutants existing in various natural resources. Organic dyes are mostly used in industries especially in textile manufacturing. They are considered as environmental threats and contaminate the water system. During the process, it spreads into the environments in the form of effluents, creating harmfulness to human beings and animals. Most of them are resistant to degradation and may undergo natural reductive anaerobic degradation to yields potentially carcinogenic intermediates. The presence of these dyes in water can block sunlight penetration and oxygen dissolution. These are the two major issues required for aquatic life. Thus, an impressive and economically reliable method essential for the treatment of toxic dyes before discharging them into various water bodies. newlineConventional drives for the textile effluent treatment fail to attain the standards due to its ineffectiveness in complete removal and disposal problems and also a vast area of land and a huge amount of chemicals required for the treatment. newlineThe photocatalytic process is found to be highly effective because of the utilization of near UV radiation. The surface area of the photocatalyst plays a major role in the presence of oxygen and photocatalysis. The reaction is taking place between the catalyst surface and organic pollutants and eliminates the environmental pollution. The Main advantage of photocatalysis is over other processes and it can be carried out ambient temperature conditions with no expensive oxidant required. Complete degradation and mineralization of organic pollutants no residue left over. Over all, this method is stable, non-hazardous and reusables are found suitable in all conditions. newline
