Abstract: At the present time, nanoparticles are extensively utilized in order to develop newlineelectrochemical platforms to perform the electrochemical reactions related to the newlinefields of sensing and sustainable energy conversions (oxygen reduction (ORR) and newlineoxygen evolution reactions (OER)). The utilization of these nanoparticles to develop newlineproficient electrocatalysts is the main fascination throughout the globe. From this newlineperspective, the composite of nanoparticles (metal hexacyanoferrate/oxide/sulfide), newlinemetal complexes (phthalocyanine/porphyrin) with solid support like clay or carbonbased newlinematerials have been synthesized and successfully employed for the newlinedetermination of physiologically important moieties and as well as for catalyzing the newlineenergy conversion related reactions. The Thesis entitled Electrochemical platforms newlinebased on clay and carbon materials for sensing and energy conversion applications newlineconsists of seven chapters. newline
