In a power system the electric load is a time variant which means newlinethat the value of the load changes from to time The reactive power is required newlinefor magnetizing purposes at no load conditions On load conditions reactive newlinepower requirement depends on the nature of the load which is primarily newlinedecided by the magnetic circuit configuration Reactive power requirement newlinechanges continuously with load and system configuration The voltage level newlineof the system may change due to change in the system configurations or newlinechange in demand The voltage level of the system is to be maintained within newlinethe prescribed limits for satisfactory operation The voltage level of the newlinesystem is maintained by reactive power generations in the system newlineen_US
