Abstract: | It has often been said that India s greatest assets is her sunlight and ultimately it is the newlinemain source of all lives and all energy. But sun light by itself can not bring a desert into newlinecolorful life it is the combination of sunlight, water and soil which play the vital role. Most newlinepart of India has this combination in varying degrees and proportions. However in a given newlineambient environment, the healthy functioning of an organism is governed by the physicochemical newlineproperties of the internal environment .The origin evolution and growth of life on newlineearth was governed by natural processes , which took place millions of years ago and thereby newlineshaped the environment. The pattern of life which evolved in each meso and micro- climatic newlineregime was best suited to that particular environment. The complex interdependence of an newlineorganism and its environment constitutes an eco-system in which there is a constant newlineinteraction and adjustments. The eco-system has typical hydrologic, oxygen, Nitrogen, and newlineCarbon cycles and is characterized well by Soil-Climate-Water-Flora and Fauna Complex. newlineIndia is very rich in biodiversity and it is one among the eighteen mega diversity newline |
