Abstract: | The cloud computing is the magical paradigm possessing advanced and attractive features, motivating the migration of resources from physical mode to virtual mode of data handling. The cloud computing (Yan Hu 2014) models acts as an alternative to the on-premises data infrastructure by providing virtual resources to support the facility of access from anywhere. Besides this virtualization concept, the cloud computing exhibits multiple advantages like pay per use and easy scalable of services, thus attracts many applications to migrate from physical mode of operation to the virtual mode. One such notable application of the cloud computing is the Internet of Things (IoT) which controls the automated devices with the help of electronic sensor connected over the internet background. The data measured by the electronic sensor need to be stored and access in a rapid manner, which the cloud computing technology supports to store and access universally. The users can access the cloud computing based IoT based on their demand using the internet access. The cloud computing based IoT is applicable is multiple smart applications like smart cities, healthcare systems etc. which requires rapid allocation of services. The cloud computing facilitates the Internet of Things and its users to be more convenient due to the pay per use facility. Although the cloud computing based Internet of Things (IoT) enjoys multiple facilities, the major drawbacks associated with the cloud computing based Internet of Things is its effective resource allocation and the continuous availability of the service to the users. The increased number of users in the internet of things challenges the resources of the cloud computing in terms of availability and in rapid allocation of resources with a reduced delay. The non-availability of resources or a delay allocation of resources affects the efficiency of the system and deteriorates the overall performances. newline |
