Abstract: Rapid growth and advancement in the field of science and newlinetechnology has led to the invention of a smart technology called as the newlineCochlear Implant (CI) that aids the deaf in hearing. A cochlear implant is an newlineelectronic form of device implanted in a surgical manner offering sound newlinesignals to a person affected with hearing impairment. The other name for this newlinecochlear implant is bionic ear. Which works by directly triggering the newlineauditory nerves located within the cochlea by electric fields preferably newlinestimulated with the help of electric triggering, this functioning is not similar newlineto hearing aids. newline
