Abstract: The thesis deals with theoretical study of flow problems of nonNewtonian fluid model, in particular, micropolar fluids. All the fluids newlineconsidered here are conducting once subjected to transverse magnetic field newlinethat generates an additional body force of electromagnetic origin. newlineConsidering the low intensity of magnetic field, the Hall Effect and induced newlinemagnetic field have not considered in the present studies. However, while newlineconsidering the effect of permeability of porous medium, the linear model newlineand nonlinear model, in some problems, are considered to account for the newlineresistance offered by the uniformly saturated porous medium newline
