Abstract: Training helps to develop latest skills and strengthen the current skills that they bring to the work. It is significant to an individual and to the organization. The learning skills are used to develop in a career and feel good about the job. Investing and inculcating effective training to an employee provides a sense of self-esteem and makes them more important to the business. newline Employee retention is one of the problems faced by most of the leading organizations. Especially, the middle level employees (Supervisory to manager level) attrition is in higher level compared to workmen or top management. Abugre, J. B., and Adebola, K. (2015) examined that training and development of middle level managers in the emerging economies make any differences in performance. Sinha, C., and Sinha, R. (2012) explored to identify main factors of retention in heavy engineering industry and results indicate competence, developmental relationship and reward oriented substantial roles play in making employees retention and how at middle managerial level deciding upon the retention strategies. So, management is failed to retain the potential employees and facing the negative consequences. Retaining the potential employees who want to exit from the organization for better employment is the biggest challenge for the organization. newline
