Abstract: Now a days, the demand of handy biomolecules sensing equipment has prompted research newlinein the field of polymer membranes. The method of conductive filler incorporation, especially newlinerGO, is appealing due to its non-covalent binding with proteins (DNA) which provides newlinebiorecognition. newlineWith the objective of detecting biomolecules using rGO, we have fabricated light and thin newlinerGO/polymer(s) nanocomposites which can be used as gate material in FET to fabricate electronic newlinebio-sensing system. PVDF, PMMA and PTFE have been used as binders to fabricate newlinenanocomposite. PVDF gives a flexible nanocomposite. The crystalline structure of PVDF (40 newline60%) is attributed to three main polymorphs and is referred as and#945;, and#946; and and#947;. The and#946; and and#947; actively are newlinepolar phases. When the nanocomposite is pulled/bent, the and#946; phase in PVDF induces the newlinepiezoelectric effect, so to reduce pulling/bending, hardness is necessary. Therefore, PMMA and newlinePTFE polymers have been used to make nanocomposite hard and more porous. In order to newlinefabricate rGO based polymer nanocomposites, a low-cost method i.e., solution method has been newlineadopted as among in-situ polymerization, mold compounding and solution method, the solution newlinemethod does not require sophisticated equipment.Following were the observations: newlineand#61692; The fabricated membranes were characterized and studied by SEM and AFM Techniques. newlineSEM images revealed well dispersion of rGO in PVDF, PMMA and PTFE matrix.AFM newlineimages exhibited pits on the surface of fabricated membranes, which suggests that an newlineappreciable amount of liquid can be hold on the surface. newlineand#61692; These membranes have good mechanical strength (tensile strength and elastic property). newlineand#61692; The TGA and DSC analysis revealed the thermal stability up to 326 °C. newlineand#61692; The FTIR studied revealed that rGO was more conducting in PVDF, PMMA and PTFE newlinematrix than PVDF and PMMA. It is a finding of this work that inclusion of low quantity of newlinePTFE has been useful to initiate interaction between rGO versus PVDF and PMMA hence, newlineimproved the conductivity of th
